The West End Alliance is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization of neighbors, merchants and other stakeholders dedicated to the continued emergence of the West End Theatre District as a walkable urban neighborhood. A 100% volunteer group, the West End Alliance promotes smart growth in our neighborhood through interaction with other organizations and the city of Allentown. We promote the West End as an entertainment destination, ideal business venue and prime residential area through events and communications materials.

Technically, our region encompasses the area bounded by 17th Street to the east, Liberty Street to the south, Washington Street to the north and 22nd Street to the west. We realize, however, that the influence of a vibrant neighborhood extends beyond these boundaries.

More than 100 businesses and nearly a dozen restaurants/taverns call our neighborhood home. We are adjacent to some of Allentown's most enduring institutions: The Allentown Fair and Fairgrounds Farmers Market, Civic Theater of Allentown, Muhlenberg College, as well as Lehigh Valley Hospital and nearby St. Luke's Hospital.
